About TheatreLab Dayton
Where We Started
Founded in 2014 as Dare 2 Defy Productions, TheatreLab Dayton hit the ground running with one goal in mind: to portray stunning works of art while showcasing the artistry the city has to offer. Since then, we have produced 38 musicals and many cabarets, concerts and collaborations, employing hundreds of Dayton, OH theatre performers, creatives, and crew.
As we make art, we strive to build community. We offer several youth programs a year to teach and encourage the future of theatre and maintain affordable programs and ticket prices. Our yearly theatre seasons contribute to Dayton's budding art scene as our city continues to grow.
